five things i fear

the big facebook deal is to list five. favorite countries, famous people you've met, hot actors, things in your cosmetics bag (i didn't do that one because spackle wasn't one of the choices) - you get the idea. i've done a few of them, just for kicks. one i've studiously avoided is the five things i fear. so, fine. here they are.

i fear goats.
i fear religious zealots
i fear remote control cars
i fear.... goats.

i've been thinking about this for at least a week and this is all i can come up with. why do i not fear snakes in a toilet (does that really happen????)?

  1. Ha! I was just telling Clay that I could easily become addicted to the whole "Living Social" lists of five over at Facebook. I, too, have avoided this one, though clearly not for the same reasons you have :)
Remote control cars? Goats? Now religious zealots I can completely understand :)

  2. hey - have you ever tried to look a goat in the eye??? can't be done. no good. of course, the same could be said of religious zealots...

  3. No, I have never tried to look a goat in the eye. Why, I must ask, have you tried to look a goat in the eye? What were the circumstances surrounding this failed stare down?

  4. It won't seem to delete my teacher comment :) Perhaps you can take care of that from your side of things. Anyway, eagerly waiting to hear about the goat.

  5. with utmost respect i deleted your teacher persona. it was making me nervous - like i should expect a red-inked comment... ;-)

goats don't have round pupils. it's one of the most unsettling things to look upon. it's right, but it's not right. the first time i looked a goat in the eye was at some youth fair thing when i was a kid (no pun intended). it's just plain weird - and i usually embrace weird...
